WUFT-FM 89.1 is a 100,000 watt public radio station serving 16 counties in North Central Florida. WJUF-M 90.1 is a 20,000 watt repeater station simulcasting the WUFT-FM signal to three additional counties on Florida’s Nature Coast.

WUFT signed on in 1981 and WJUF in 1995. The station primarily broadcasts NPR news and conversation programs on 89.1 and 90.1. The stations also broadcast two additional streams of programming. HD-2 is 24/7 classical music, jazz, and performance programming and 89.1 HD-3 has a top-40 music format.

The stations are owned by the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and serve as a training facility for students in the UF College of Journalism and Communications
