Timothée Hal Chalamet is an American and French actor. His accolades include nominations for an Academy Award, four Golden Globe Awards, and three BAFTA Film Awards.
Chalamet began his career as a teenager in television, appearing in the drama series Homeland in 2012. In 2014, he made his film debut in the comedy-drama Men, Women & Children and appeared in Christopher Nolan's science fiction film Interstellar. Chalamet came to international attention with the lead role of a lovestruck teenager in Luca Guadagnino's coming-of-age film Call Me by Your Name, earning him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor.
Alongside supporting roles in Greta Gerwig's films Lady Bird and Little Women, Chalamet took on a starring role as drug addict Nic Sheff in the biopic Beautiful Boy. Chalamet then began leading big-budget films, portraying Paul Atreides in Denis Villeneuve's science fiction film Dune, its sequel Dune: Part Two, and Willy Wonka in Paul King's musical fantasy film Wonka. He has since portrayed Bob Dylan in the biographical drama A Complete Unknown, which he also produced.
