Big John Babine,
Music Theory Researchers, Saxophonist, Minister, Performer, Composer... grew up in Warri, Delta state where he began playing the recorder at the age of 11.
This was the beginning of a long and exciting musical journey that would result in a wide variety of musical
experiences.
During his high school years, he lost his way from music and entered in to the sciences class, were he wanted to become an electrical engineer, but the love for music kept pulling him to play his Recorder.
Finally, after high school He found his way back to music in Delta state university after taking the bold step to change from electrical engineering to music education. His university days was followed by serious study of the flute and the saxophone, which have paid off with B.A Edu. in Music Education and M.A. in Music Performance; both from Delta States University.
and has written articles and books yet to be published on the aspect of melodic patterns in music.
