Having been known in the UK as a worship leader at key gatherings such as Spring Harvest, Stoneleigh Bible Week, Mission Worship and the Newfrontiers International Conferences, with appearances on some 50 worship albums, Kate and her husband Miles felt the leading of God and inspiration from Darlene Zschech (Success in the kingdom is building into the lives of others) to move to Sydney, Australia to build into local worship teams and train and mentor worship leaders, which they love and continue to do.

Kate began writing songs the day after she became a Christian with early solo albums having an outreach/CCM flavour. The lockdowns of recent years were the catalyst for a renewed focus on congregational writing, and a 2022 co-release with Geraldine Latty and Carey Luce called 'Christmas'. As a family, Kate, Miles and their multi-instrumentalist son Matt often lead worship together, and increasingly write and work together on music production, releasing 'Acoustic Sessions' in 2024.
