Canadian pianist living in Vancouver, BC.

1st-prize winner of National Knigge Music Competition in Vancouver (2008), Oberlin Concerto Competition (2004), Shean Competition in Edmonton (2002), and National Music Festival in Ottawa (1998). 2nd-prize winner of 30th Eckhardt-Gramatté National Competition (2007), and 3rd-prize winner of World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio (2005) and Corpus Christi International Competition for Piano and Strings (2006).

Performed with Edmonton, Toronto, and Winnipeg Symphonies in Canada, and Oberlin Orchestra and World Competition Orchestra in the USA. Solo debut recital for Women's Musical Club of Winnipeg in 2003.

Received early music training from Carole Pollard in Winnipeg, Canada. Double-degree Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts (Japanese) Degrees from Oberlin College (2005), studying with Alvin Chow. Master of Music (2007) and Doctoral of Music (2011) from Indiana University, studying with Menahem Pressler of the Beaux Arts Trio.
