Dr Manuel Jose Manjo Oyson is a PhD (Management) from the University of Auckland (UoA) under the MSA Charitable Trust PhD Scholarship. He has a Master of Laws (Second Class First Division Honours) and PG Cert in Acad Practice (A- grades) also from the UoA, an EMBA from the Asian Institute of Management, an LLB from the UP College of Law and a BA (Cum Laude) from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He is a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of New Zealand and a lawyer in Queensland and the Philippines (No. 17 among 3,921 Bar Examinees). He is a Lecturer of CQUniversity (Australia) and was previously a Tutor at the UoA. He has published in leading journals such as the Journal of International Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Research. He has also presented papers at the British Academy of Management Conference (UK), McGill International Entrepreneurship Conference (Canada), and the High-Technology Small-Firm Conference (Netherlands), among others.
