The International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications (ISAAA) is a not-for-profit organization that delivers the benefits of new agricultural biotechnologies to the poor in developing countries. It fulfils this mandate by facilitating the sharing of knowledge and transfer of crop biotechnology applications through public and private sector partnerships.



ISAAA AfriCenter was established in 1994 with the mission to enhance food security and reduce poverty in sub-Saharan Africa through appropriate biotechnological interventions.AfriCenter executes its mandate through communication and knowledge sharing initiatives, crop biotechnology transfer and policy outreach.
