Susmit Sen is a self taught musician. He has been the founder, lead Guitarist of India’s longest running Live band Indian Ocean. His 1st solo debut album Depths of the Ocean was released in 2011.
He has formed a new band named The Susmit Sen Chronicles after leaving Indian Ocean in June 2013.
Susmit sen was invited by one of the most prolific Guitar festivals in the world – guitar -en -scene in Geneva, France, to represent the country. Susmit Sen has also scored the music for several award winning documentaries and feature films including Road to Ladhakh, Peepli Live (Indian Ocean) and Black Friday (Indian Ocean) etc. He was also awarded the best music director award with Indian Ocean at the Asian Film festival in Hongkong.
