My journey to a more traditional way of shaving started after meningitis left me with some 'lifetime' health issues; this prompted me to consider simple ways to get more enjoyment from life. By chance, I saw a shaving video and soon bought my first safety razor. Those tentative first shaves turned into a passion for something I'd previously considered a chore. Nowadays, I take my time and enjoy my 'zen in the den' time.
