The Current is the Gallery & Art Center at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. It is home to one of the largest collections of Bahamian art and the highly acclaimed Fairwind Exhibition. The Current's primary purpose is to promote local artists and artisans and to provide a platform to position Bahamian art on a global stage.
Through its programming, The Current aims to forge a strong creative community. Utilizing captivating exhibitions, partnerships with local art collectors, artist residencies, dynamic tours, workshops and lectures, we promote exciting collaborative projects and global creative exchanges.
