We are a group of mushroom enthusiasts located in the Monterey Bay area of California's central coast. Some of us are new to this, some have decades under their belts. Some are so old they took classes from David Arora in the 1970s... :)

We are connected to various fungal research projects, such as the Mycota of Santa Cruz County and the larger North American Mycoflora Project. We are very active with the MushroomObserver.org community and maintain the fungal herbarium at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
