I have walked the Camino Norte/Primitivo and Camino Portugal in 2015, and the Camino Norte in 2019. Plan to walk several more Caminos in 2023 during my six month sabbatical.
I am a Catholic priest for the Archdiocese of Anchorage/Juneau. I am the pastor of Saint Paul Mission, which incorporates Bristol Bay in the Aleutian Chain.
I graduated high School in 1975 and grew up in Bend, Oregon. Joined the Air Force in 1975 and was honorably discharged in 1979. I moved to Alaska when I was 25 years old, May 1983, and I’ve been here ever since. I became a Catholic priest May 24, 2003. I have degrees from Bend Senior High, the University of Fairbanks, the University of Oregon, Catholic University, and Mount Angel seminary. Currently. In 2022, I fly a Cherokee Warrior ll to surrounding remote Alaskan villages. I am stationed in Dillingham, Alaska.
