Hey Y'all we are a large family of 9 and life can be complete mania and chaos but we enjoy it. We are new to homesteading living a country life on 6 acres in South Mississippi - Zones 8b and 9a. After our oldest of 7, our daughter Maddisen passed away & went to be with the Lord on Oct. 21st 2017 from a severe asthma attack we realized life is too short.
We moved onto our 6 acres in 2018 and started our homestead. We wanted to teach our kids and ourselves how to live off the land & getting back to the basics of life while doing the work with us. We love to be outdoors caring for our animals all the while spending time with our 6 children.
