Animal rights lawyer, former law professor at Northwestern School of Law, & co-founder of The Simple Heart Initiative & DxE. Wayne led teams that have investigated & rescued animals from animal-abusing enterprises across the U.S. – challenging unconstitutional “ag-gag” laws in the process– & organized successful campaigns to ban fur in San Francisco & California. He served as lead counsel in 2 “right to rescue” trials in which activists were acquitted after being charged for giving aid to sick & dying animals in factory farms, garnering media attention from The New York Times.
