The Western Landowners Alliance was founded by landowners in 2012 to ensure the well-being of working lands in the American West and the living communities that depend on them, including both people and wildlife. Our mission is to advance policies and practices that sustain working lands, connected landscapes and native species. We envision a future in which western lands remain whole and healthy, providing for quality livelihoods on family farms and ranches, strong communities, thriving wildlife populations, and vital natural resources.

We provide a voice for land stewards in the West, including through our award-winning Stewardship with Vision video series which forms the cornerstone of our YouTube Channel.
