Hi there... My name is John Parker and I am a Pipe Organ builder. Regrettably I cannot play a note other thand chords to ensure I have tuned he organ's correctly. I have perfect pitch (which can be a pain at times!).

My love is my 1928 Laffargue player piano. I am slowly working through it restoring it. Sadly any posts I have made on YouTube the piano is 'very' flat - no tuning in 40+ years before I purchased it. It has been tuned once, and over the next 12 months I will have the tuner gradually pull it back up to A440. I also want to replace the bottom 12 bass strings which presently let the whole piano down - the windings are smalll and the tone thin & dull.

I will up date this page as work on my piano is continued.

To those who have bitched at me when I have complained your piano is out of tune...? Suck Eggs! Pianos SHOULD be in tune to gain the 'best' from the instrument!
