I wish to share my joy and love for peddle assist ebiking. Since I'm retired and have two bad knees and a bad hip it has limited my ability to ride a mountain bike. I prefer being in the woods than on roads for a lot of reasons. Since I got my Specialized Turbo Levo Comp ebike I have had nothing but fun. I can now go out and discover trails and not fear not making it back to the car. I can actually climb hills and completely configure the operating parameters of the bike. It feels like a normal bike. Fantastic engineering and software has gone into the development of these bikes. There is no throttle thereby making it a type 1 peddle assist bike. There was a learning curve for me as it was the first full suspension bike with power assist I have ever rode. You need to get used to it. I'm here to dispel any negative sentiment toward these bikes and promote their use for young and old. They are incredible fun without the recovery day.
