Perfume Genius is the moniker of artist Mike Hadreas. His new album, Set My Heart On Fire, Immediately has Hadreas re-teaming with producer Blake Mills and features musicians Jim Keltner, Pino Palladino, Matt Chamberlin and Phoebe Bridgers. The album is masculine and rooted, with decidedly American musical influences. Throughout Hadreas’ plays with the themes of love, sex, memory and the body and the end result is his most dynamic album yet.
