I decided to start this channel after the New York music critic Alex Ross wrote an article about a madrigal with rising chromatic steps'. He posted a video on his website of the music accompanied by a venetian painting. My first reaction was - I want to see those chromatic steps and the really ecstatic, spine-tingling event in the video itself, not just a static image.
