The 950 Club Podcast is primarily an anime and manga podcast though we dive into other things geek and pop culture such as wrestling, Star Wars, video games, comics, etc. The 950 Club was created by two friends, Jack and Edwin with an assist sometimes from friends and frequent guests Jamaal, Martin, Alberto, Kyle, Jesse, Josh and others. These friends first met at a bookstore, evolved their love with manga and anime, and now are doing a podcast! Based in Chicago, the 950 Club is welcome to all, especially for fans of anime, manga, geek culture, and pop culture. Jack and Edwin are the mainstays, reviewing their selected shows biweekly with a focus on showing love to the overlooked and underappreciated titles. Others come in with their input; especially for our After Hours and Open Mic segments where we discuss general pop culture things like current movies, shows, and video games that we review as well!
