Welcome to #thechicaway, a little insight into my world. Most people know me as Chica, which in most European languages means ‘girl’ and my full name Francesca Mascarenhas with its Italian and Portuguese ring to it, has always encouraged my eclectic view on life.

As you know, reality can be very tricky and can get mundane if you’re not paying attention. I think the best way to keep things interesting is a little escape every now and again.

I still find myself on the road to self-discovery and I am happiest when I am meeting different people, seeing new places and experiencing new things whether it is fashion, food, music, art or design.
