Grant Knox (he/him) is an Arizona-based music educator, conductor, and musicologist. His research on Chicago hip-hop, and the music of 20th-century American composers Ulysses Kay and William Grant Still has been presented at a number of national and international conferences. Grant is passionate about healthy practices of inclusion, representation, and diversity in the music classroom/ensemble, and enjoys the interdisciplinary studies of musicology, critical theory, and popular music within the larger scope of the wind band idiom.
