This is the home of DubUMatix videos. I maintain analog U-matic, U-matic High Band, U-matic SP and other professional video and audio tape machines and equipment for the purposes of exploring analog video production of various kinds; including visuals for projection at shows, multi camera video taping and real time post editing on tape. It is not about being strictly analog-only, after all, there is digital processing in most of my equipment and I explore digital effects and computer editing as well.
I love film, music, visual music, real time (or live) video tape/fx jamming, mechanical or electro-mechanical machinery of all kinds. I'm having far too much fun with this stuff to simply throw it all away and only use an ipad or laptop! Enjoy!
