This channel is dedicated to airing great music that never got to see the light of day. Most of the material comes from the mid-to-late sixties.
All of the music you hear on my vids comes from the vinyl that is playing. Guaranteed! I have CD's of some of the album cuts, but I won't substitute the 'better' sound of the CD for the vinyl - that is not the intent of this channel.
Technical info:
The audio is ripped directly from the phonograph into Cool Edit Pro 2.0 or Audition 3.0 at 24/96, then processed using custom-built presets in those programs.
The record playback system consists of a Technics SL1200MKII and an Audio Technica AT150MLX phono cartridge. The audio interface is an upgraded EMU 1820m, with the high-quality built-in 2-stage phono preamp.
