The Prabir Trio has been writing and recording music fearlessly without any safety nets. The songs are rooted in the beautiful chaos found in Prabir’s musical upbringing of classical Indian melodies colliding with rock and roll. They are passionate, loud, and truthful. No topic is off the table. These songs are high octane energy with conversational lyrics regarding immigrant life, learning about America, losing loved ones on the other. side of the globe, growing up in conservative suburbs, finding drugs, fighting god, and beyond.

The band is comprised of some of Richmond, VA's. finest. Kelli Strawbridge on drums, Kenneka Cook on harmony vocals, and Russell Lacy on bass take Prabir's songs to beautiful and groovy places, giving each song it's own sonic universe.

The Prabir Trio is looking forward to the future and release the first full length album, Haanji.
