🧬 My name's Georgia and I work as a Bioinformatician at a Research Institute in London! I graduated in 2020 with a BSc in Genetics and Molecular Biology from UEA in Norwich, England. I started teaching myself to code in 2019 and ever since I've been passionate about sharing the importance of learning this skill for biologists and how it can change your options. I worked at the Sanger Institute in Cambridge UK until 2023 as a Genomic Data Scientist where I trained on the job. I now work at research institute in London, UK as a Bioinformatician. I'm passionate about sharing my career journey and helping break down barriers of entry.
