The Junior League of Boston is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of Boston (JLB) was established in 1906 by young women interested in educating other young women in how to address and resolve the community problems and needs of the greater Boston Metro area. Throughout the past 100 years, the JLB has grown in our membership and involvement in the Boston Metro community. We are the second-oldest chapter of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc.
