I won my federal sector disability discrimination claim against NASA, and EEOC awarded me max damages. Most employees settle. That requires them to sign Nondisclosure Agreements, which keeps them silent. I didn't settle. I won, so I still own my story. I hope sharing my perspective will open a dialogue about workplace discrimination that's long overdue.
I still love the work NASA does. When I was there, I was an advocate for institutional learning. This is a continuation of that work. My videos are distilled lessons learned at NASA (and EEOC) presented as short practical tips that I hope may help other workers.
Because workers deserve better than we're getting.
I'm not an attorney, so don't take anything I say as legal advice. Also, I try to be truthful, but the stories I share here should be considered allegedly. They are my perspective and opinions and are biased toward workers. My former employer's perspective on the facts may be different.
