Since 1934, the #UBSSW has educated social work practitioners and scholars who empower vulnerable populations, advocate for social justice and lead the profession. With curricula guided by trauma-informed and human rights perspectives, we offer a variety of graduate programs leading to Master of Social Work (MSW), Doctor of Social Work (DSW) and PhD in Social Welfare degrees. The #UBuffalo School of Social Work is ranked in the top 25 schools of social work by U.S. News & World Report and is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
