Cascia Talbert, known as the country flutist on YouTube, is a professional performer, composer, arranger and music teacher. She studied music and flute at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater graduating with a BA in 2001. While in college she performed in the flute choir and played piccolo with the marching band and concert band.

She started teaching private flute lessons in 1998 while in college. Cascia has over 25 years of performance experience playing her flute and singing with church choirs, for weddings, and private gatherings . Along with performing she writes and arranges music for flute. She is also a professional song writer and has written country songs, bluegrass instrumentals and contemporary Christian songs.

This channel features performances and recordings from the Country Flutist as well as children's country songs, and recordings of her arrangements and musical compositions.

Cascia lives in the Chicago area with her husband, five children and three cats.
