I began my journey in music at the age of 2, playing on my parents’ old rotor organ. I spent 13 years in private lessons and university lessons. I have been running my in-home private studio since 2008. I love to play beginner - intermediate level pieces for students who are learning. I like to show them pieces they might be inspired by, want to learn, or just enjoy.
I was diagnosed with a rare, debilitating bone disease called Kienböck’s in 2008. In 2016 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disease. In 2022 I was diagnosed with asthma. I am also an ovarian and cervical cancer survivor. It was discovered in February of 2020, and I had a full hysterectomy, appendectomy, and a mass removal (13x9x9cm). I completed chemotherapy in October of 2020.
I live with chronic pain, chronic depression and anxiety, and yet music always brings me back. It is a passionate and a tortured existence I wish to share. It is a pure form of expression that I cannot ignore.
