Iranian-American soprano Jessie Massoudi is a native of Southern California, and is best known for her quirky and fearless personality on stage. She has played leading roles in several operas, most notably Musetta (La Bohème – DTL nominee), Miss Silverpeal (The Impresario), Giulietta (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Nella (Gianni Schicchi), and Dorabella (Così fan tutte). Some of Jessie’s more memorable operetta and musical theater roles she’s performed are Grittly (Le 66), Janine (Gunfight at the Not-So-OK Saloon), Adele and “Allie”/ Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Angela (Patience – DTL winner), Gertrude (Seussical), and Amy (Little Women).

Ms. Massoudi holds a BM in Vocal Performance from the University of Redlands, where she sang in the award winning Chapel Singers chamber ensemble. As a versatile artist, Jessie is also known as a pop singer with a bluesy quality to her voice, and occasionally performs with the band, North Benched.
