I fell in love with music the very first time listening to my Dad (RIP) play his record collection and he listened to WWRL-NYC jazz station. When I turned 18 yrs old, I have saved enough money to buy something for me for the very first time as a young adult....and you know what I bought? Music equipment to learn how to mix music! Years later, I left NY and moved down south where, I started a mobile DJ company and would spin at college parties and events, which landed me on the No. 1 radio station in the Southeast at the time, V103FM in Atlanta, GA. My moniker was DJ Special K...every Friday and Saturday nights for 4 consecutive years!!!
