I hope to spread the good news of theatre (cinema) organs and their importance in the cultures of both the USA and Great Britain. As author of a 3-volume, 1500+ page scholarly biography of popular organist George Wright, I have also done significant research into playing music for silent movies in general. In addition, I have been entrusted to scan memorabilia from famous organists such as Earl Abel, Marguerite Werner, Al Melgard, George Wright, Bud Taylor, and Gaylord Carter. I'm also the proud owner of a 1925 Style D (6 ranks) Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ, which will be installed in my home in Michigan after I design and install an addition to house it.
