We are dedicated to a single purpose: Keeping our promise to America's veterans by empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish our mission by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them, fighting for the interests of veterans on Capitol Hill, and educating the public about the needs of veterans. Our local Chapter is an all-volunteer non-profit organization, providing services at no cost to veterans of all generations, their families, and survivors. Extending DAV's mission of hope into communities through a network of state-level departments and local chapters. Our services are made possible through the generosity of our donors and volunteers and the dedication of our members. Chapter 48 is entirely funded by gifts from members and local supporters. Donations to our Chapter go directly towards DAV programs that directly assist veterans and their families.
