ABDIEL VÁZQUEZ is a New York based conductor and pianist.
He is Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra La Súper, a Steinway & Sons Artist, and Founder and Artistic Director of Vincerò Academy.
He has been seen as soloist, conductor, and recitalist at major cultural capitals and venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall, Chicago, Paris, Madrid, London’s Guildhall, Tokyo, Shanghai, Buenos Aires’ Teatro Colón, Lima’s Gran Teatro Nacional, Bogotá, Caracas’ Simón Bolivar Symphony Orchestra, Mexico City’s Palacio de Bellas Artes, and Guanajuato’s Cervantino Festival.
He has performed more than 100 concerts as soloist with orchestra throughout Mexico and in the U.S., Europe, and South America, playing the concertos of Beethoven, Liszt, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Gershwin, Ravel, Ricardo Castro, Manuel Ponce (New York premiere), Samuel Barber (Mexican premiere), Leonard Bernstein, and Juan Pablo Contreras (World premiere performance and recording).
