Our Company was originally founded in 1953 as Filmshows Ltd at 1A Hawkins Street, around the corner from our present location. In 1968 our name was changed to Bermingham Cameras by Paddy Bermingham who was proprietor with us until his retirement in 1990. Now Brian Whelan, who started here in 1968, is the owner and we are a family run business.

Our emphasis is on providing a top quality, reliable and personal service to our broad customer base ranging from Press and Professionals, through Enthusiasts to total Beginners. Between our staff, we have over 50 years of experience in Photographic Trade.

We have been synonymous with the Nikon brand through the years and carry in stock the whole range of cameras and lenses. We also stock all Canon cameras and lenses, along with various other brands. We supply studio equipment, lighting equipment, memory cards, digital accessories etc.
