-finding and identifying the bodies of missing soldiers
-solving riddles and mysteries, correcting 80 year old mistakes
-researching identification tags and named pieces of equipment (helmets, gas masks, canteens, etc)
-showing what research tools exist and how they can be used
-promoting oral history
