From its founding in 1849 as a pioneer-era school for orphans, Pacific University has always been about making a difference in people's lives. Today, that spirit of caring and service still pervades every aspect of campus life, and fuels the desire to have an even greater impact on our students, our communities and the region.
This commitment to excellence has led to the most ambitious growth and development program in the university's more than 170-year history. Pacific University offers undergraduate, graduate and professional programs in the liberal arts and sciences, optometry, education, health professions and business. Nearly 3,900 attend Pacific's campuses in Forest Grove, Eugene, Hillsboro and Woodburn.
Pacific University remains a place where individuals find their passion; where they embrace their individuality; and where exceptional students are transformed into exceptional citizens of the world.
