1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Satan knows that his time is getting short and is “walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” We are told in Ephesians 6:11 that we need to Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
As we approach the coming of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ in these end times, we need to be vigilant in reading the Word of God and praying for guidance. The Word of God is the final authority in faith and practice.

Jesus asks a question in Luke 18:8 ...when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Therefore, be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh (Matthew 24:24).
Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
