I enjoy challenges and am a lifelong, enthusiastic learner. My most recent challenge is to post a piano video every day. I started on November 9, 2023, and it's still going!! But a little history: in 2015, I started a personal challenge to learn 40 new pieces in 10 months (roughly one piece / week), committing to posting videos of what I learned. It was fun to choose music--I started with RCM repertoire and went from there. Three years and 120 videos later, I decided I needed a new challenge: composing and arranging songs! I had to slow down--it takes way more time for me to write music (a few days up to a few months). These arrangements can be found at elenafortinmusic.com.
