Girls and tweens who enjoy making friendship bracelets now have a revolutionary new way to make their knotted-string creations with My Friendship Bracelet Maker™ by Crorey Creations, Inc. The kit’s unique design features an adjustable butterfly clip at the top to hold strings in place, a row of numbered pegs at the bottom to keep strings in order, and a slide-out storage tray to organize and transport extra threads – all making My Friendship Bracelet Maker the easiest, neatest and most portable way ever to create friendship bracelets.
David Crorey, a retired auto industry executive and natural problem-solver, came up with the initial concept for My Friendship Bracelet Maker while babysitting for his granddaughters and struggling to make friendship bracelets with them. He saw their system of pinning the strings to furniture and taping the loose pieces down, and he thought there had to be a better way.
Crorey’s concept quickly became a reality, since he was able to tap into some of the best talent in Detroit (engineers, graphic designers, website developers) who had unfortunately found themselves unemployed in this tough economy. My Friendship Bracelet Maker first launched in Michigan-based specialty retailers and, after successful showings at several trade shows this year, is now available in over 300 independent toy stores, as well as Hobby Lobby and Michaels stores nationwide.
“I always say: give me an everyday problem and I’ll invent a solution,” said David Crorey, Founder and CEO, Crorey Creations, Inc. “Friendship Bracelets are an age-old tradition for girls, yet there was never anything that made the process simpler and less messy.
