Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department deputy director Deputy Comm Zainudin Ahmad said police crippled a major drug trafficking syndicate with the arrest of 12 suspects and seized RM822,000 worth of drugs in nine raids conducted in Penang, Kedah and Perak.

Apart from the drugs and cash amounting to RM65,090, police also seized 15 vehicles worth about RM1.5mil.
