American feminist singer-songwriter and recording artist from Deadwood, South Dakota. Williamson was a visible lesbian political activist during an era when few who were unconnected to the lesbian community were aware of gay and lesbian issues. Her acknoledg being a lesbian relegated her to independent-label status and minimal coverage in the mass media, even though her lyrics made only minor reference to lesbian issues and her music conformed to conventional styles of pop-rock.

Waiting.
A village tale.
Last sweet hour.
Joanna.
Shine on straight arrow.
Rebecca.
Make me not a stranger.
James.
Frontier.
One thousand cranes.
Number one.
