Farmers in Karnataka's Mysuru were forced to throw away tons of vegetables as prices sank in the market due to heavy rains in the region. Tomatoes, cauliflowers and other vegetables were seen lying on the ground at Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) market in Mysuru. Vegetables became wet garbage for the farmers due to lack of proper shelter or godown to store them. APMC Market is going to hold a meeting with vendors to stabilise prices of vegetables.
