A livestream captured lava flow from Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano in lower Puna on May 22. Several volcanic fissures reactivated after an explosive eruption at the summit of Kilauea on May 17, causing a continuous lava flow.

The USGS said it was not yet possible to tell if the fissures would become long-term active vents or would only remain active for a brief period of time before waning.
