Retorting to Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s comment that the national capital was exhausting its vaccines too soon, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on May 31 said that he aimed to save people’s lives, not vaccines. Khattar had accused Kejriwal of playing politics over inoculation, while claiming that Delhi was receiving more vaccines than other states. He further stated that Kejriwal was “doing drama” by saying that all the city’s inoculation centres were going to be closed because of lack of vaccines. Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said even BJP president JP Nadda had made condemnable statements. Reacting to Sisodia’s comments, Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta said, “It’s sad to see Delhi government and AAP doing insensitive politics.” Watch the video to know more.
