On Wednesday, Twitter rolled out another group of new features that are designed to help limit abuse on Twitter. The new features include the ability to mute Twitter users with the default avatar (aka the unhatched egg) and the option to mute specific words or usernames from your timeline. The company's third change is a promise to be more proactive in identifying abusive behavior, attempting to target users before the behavior is even reported. These changes come off the back of a host of other news features that Twitter released in February that were also aimed at dealing with harassment on the platform.
